Thank you FUMC - Hilltop Soups Event Huge SUCCESS

What an event!

What an outpouring of support from FUMC!

What a Success!  WHAT DELISCIOUS DESSERTS!

Thirty-two church families provided 50 desserts - cookies, all sorts of brownies, cupcakes, cakes, breads, pies, monetary donation, and even gluten free rice krispies and pecan shortbread cookies.  (Imagine four long tables full of the above...lemon cake with frosting, banana nut bread, chocolate cake, Bundt cake, peanut crunch cake, pineapple upside down cakes; apple, cherry, and pumpkin pies; brownies with nuts, with chocolate icing, with sprinkles, Layers of love brownies, chocolate brownies with caramel frosting, Ghirardelli brownies;  cookies of all shapes and sizes - chocolate chips, m&m, rice krispies, spice cookies, with nuts, without, gluten free pecan shortbread; Jam bars, lemon bars; cupcakes-pineapple upside down cupcakes, Maple glazed apple cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes.)  Makes your head swim and stomach growl, doesn't it? Imagine the decisions people had to make!

Many of our families came to eat, hear good music, and visit with friends. Some helped by working at the event.

Seven hundred people attended the event at Christ Lutheran Church. (150 more than last year).
Proceeds provide scholarships for needy families going to school $/or working so that they have affordable quality childcare.

Thank you and bless you for all your support for this Hilltop Neighborhood Fundraiser.

Thank you for caring, sharing and coming!       (see pictures below)

Setting out all the items...

See the lady waaaaay down at the end of the tables in the white hat and red apron?   That's how long the dessert area was from staging to presenting.

                             Don't I have a great job?

That sure WAS good.....................................................
